Canaveral National Seashore

As part of the U.S. National Parks, Canaveral National Seashore is home to pristine undeveloped shoreline, taking you back to authentic Florida. Here you can find tranquility as you enjoy this recreational paradise. From kayaking and fishing to swimming and bird watching, there are many opportunities for you to explore nature and view native wildlife. Visitors are welcome to backcountry camp here, too. In addition, Canaveral National Seashore is a great spot to watch a rocket launch, but it’s best to check their website for possible closures prior to arrival. There is a vehicle entrance fee here for automobiles, motorcycles and commercial tour vehicles. Winter hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; summer hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
