Brevard Symphony Orchestra
For more than 70 years, the Brevard Symphony Orchestra has been the premier professional orchestra in Melbourne, and the orchestra-in-residence at the King Center for the Performing Arts. The orchestra’s mission is to entertain and enrich individuals and communities by creating exceptional, live symphonic music. The main season concert season runs from October through May. Concerts include our Signature Series featuring the music of Mozart, Beethoven, and more, as well as a Pops Series. World-class guest artists frequently appear.
A Summer Concert series is performed in the more intimate venue Suntree United Methodist Church. Those concerts are General Admission with no assigned or reserved seating. Each year, three of the main season programs are offered in a Matinee Series suitable for the whole family. Additionally, the BSO performs two free concerts annually: a Family Concert and an outdoor 4th of July celebration complete with a fireworks show. Bring a blanket or outdoor chairs for this fun family favorite.
