Youth Environmental Summit

Brevard Zoo is inviting teens ages 12-18 to learn about local conservation with a group of like-minded peers. The Zoo’s annual Youth Environmental Summit will take place at the Zoo on Monday, July 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Participants will be able to network with professionals, hobbyists, and students working to protect our local waterways. Activities include repurposing items into crafty animal enrichment, brainstorming unique ways to reduce our environmental footprint, and engaging in more interactive fun! Keynote speaker Ashley B. Chelberg of Stella Maris Environmental Research will join us as we discover ways to contribute to a healthier Indian River Lagoon.

A $15 registration fee includes lunch and a gift. Space is limited and participants must be pre-registered to attend. Registration ends on June 29; learn more and sign up at the website link below.
