Merritt Island Pioneer Day

The 13th Annual Pioneer Day is a Family Friendly day filled with activities and programs celebrating the early pioneers of Merritt Island.

The historic John H. Sams Homestead and the historic St. Luke’s Episcopal Church set the sites for opportunities for families and friends to learn about the lifestyles of our ancestors and environment through exhibitions, programs, music, tours and hikes, while enjoying music, food, vendors and children’s games in the beautiful Courtenay community.

A shuttle service will take you between the sites, and a small parking fee is asked. Be sure to visit our website for full schedule of events.
